CELTIC

‘It’s weird’… Peter Grant says it’s very strange that one Celtic player is being heavily criticised this season

The criticism levied towards Celtic and Brendan Rodgers for their performances and collapse in the league is warranted. Let’s not beat about the bush.

It is unacceptable to have given up such a strong advantage over the previous few months in such a flimsy manner.

Of course, some of the blame must fall on the players, but Peter Grant feels that one player in particular is receiving unfair criticism, and the former Celtic great is taken aback by how much of the limelight Greg Taylor has taken.

Grant stated on The Go Radio Football Show, “You know all these things he’s gone off about, Greg Taylor’s back from injury.” within the game. It’s peculiar. Although Greg is receiving a lot of flak, I thought the game altered on Saturday after he went off.

Though I understand that Bernabei is receiving a lot of criticism for the position that Greg plays and how effectively he plays it, I don’t necessarily mean with that, but it was a blow.

“I understand that he had to go out for around 60 minutes, but even after that, there was a significant shift in the performance, and that’s where the fine lines are.

“Let’s not play favorites; this isn’t a winning team, so it will be interesting to see how they react.”

The Greg Taylor conundrum

Look, I get it. I understand that Greg Taylor is not everyone’s cup of tea and I also get that the Scotland fullback has his weaknesses.
