As a true freshman, Graham racked up 27 total tackles and 2.5 sacks. He was an absolute force in his first college football season, and he was immediately a difference maker on defense.
Graham had a noteworthy season prior. By season’s conclusion, he had accumulated 35 tackles, 3 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. He also came up with one of the biggest plays of Michigan’s season in the overtime Rose Bowl victory against Alabama. With a seven-point deficit going into overtime, the Crimson Tide needed a touchdown to tie the game. Graham ran into the backfield and tackled the Alabama rushing back for a four-yard loss in order to set up a third and goal from the 13. Ultimately, Michigan won because the Crimson Tide turned the ball over on downs.
