Kentucky receives crystal ball for talented forward in the transfer portal
The Wildcats could land this talented transfer.
In order to complete the Kentucky Wildcats’ roster for the 2024–25 campaign, Mark Pope must obtain a few more players from the portal.
The coaching staff may have their eye on a particular player who would be the ideal addition to this roster. It is reasonable to assume that the Kentucky Wildcats have decided on their starting lineup and are currently searching for supporting players to relieve starters.
Ansley Almonor, who spent the last three seasons as a player for the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, is the ideal candidate for this position. This season, the 6’7 219 stretch forward averaged 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
Almonor also shot 39.4% from three, so he is a legit small ball four who can stretch out the defense with his ability to shoot the basketball.
After his recent visit to campus, a crystal ball has been logged on 247Sports with the intention of helping the Wildcats sign the gifted forward.
Almonor is short for a forward, but he is tremendously strong and doesn’t back down to players who are taller than him, according to the footage. If he decides to choose Kentucky, his experience protecting players bigger than him will come in handy in the SEC.
Almonor would be another excellent depth player for the Wildcats who can win you some games with his shooting abilities. The Wildcats have a good possibility of adding him to their team in 2024–25.
Almonor might join this team in the future, and that would be a huge addition.
