Sherrone Moore Thanks Jim Harbaugh in Classy Statement After Michigan Names Him Head Coach for his mentorship.
Granted, Michigan is prepared for a new era of Big Ten football, even though NCAA fines over claims of improper in-person scouting or pandemic-period recruiting may still be pending.
Coach Jim Harbaugh, who left for the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday, is responsible for it. After taking over as the Wolverines’ official manager on Friday, Moore made a point of thanking Harbaugh for being a mentor to him.
“I want to thank Coach Harbaugh for the faith that he has displayed in me over the past six years and for supporting my growth as a football coach during that time,” Moore stated in a press release. “I have been preparing my entire coaching career for this opportunity and I can’t think of a better place to be head coach than at the University of Michigan.”
Moore has made a point of praising Harbaugh before; on November 11, following Michigan’s victory over Penn State, he did so visibly.
Moore will face Fresno State on August 31 in his first game as the Wolverines’ full-time head coach.
