Jim Harbaugh Gifts Rose Bowl Game Ball to Baby With Cancer in Heartwarming Scene

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and quarterback J.J. McCarthy have been riding high ever since winning the national championship earlier this month. And on Tuesday, a fan shared that the duo went above and beyond to show some love to his grandson with cancer.

A Wolverines supporter named Todd J. Anson shared a photo of the Michigan coach and his family on X, the former Twitter platform. Anson claimed that after McCarthy and Harbaugh dedicated the victory to the endearing little fan, Harbaugh gave his grandson a game ball from the Rose Bowl.

“After Jim and JJ dedicated a game to our little Neuroblastoma cancer patient, Grandson Knox, on Sunday, Jim and Sarah dropped by unexpectedly to deliver the Rose Bowl Game Ball during our victory over Bama,” he said in the post. “We also rejoiced over winning the National Championship! We sincerely appreciate it.

Michigan overcame Alabama in the Rose Bowl in a thrilling 27–20 overtime match before defeating Washington in the title game.

For the Wolverines, the visit was nothing short of a touching gesture. Ideally, Knox will always remember that.
