BREAKING: Michigan Wolverines National Championship Winning Star Announce Decisions Concerning Future And 2024 NFL Draft

The Michigan Wolverines, off the back of a National Championship win against the Washington Huskies, have faced a string of exits, predominantly through highly touted juniors and seniors declaring for the NFL Draft.

According to Field Yates and Underdog NFL, two of the main factors behind the Wolverines’ first National Championship since 1997 (shared with Nebraska) and their first time as the only National Champions since 1948, more than 75 years ago, have now decided whether to stay in school or enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

What Does This Mean For The Michigan Wolverines

The so-called ‘winningest’ college football powerhouse will have to start their rebuild next year. Without start back Corum, quarterback McCarthy, who coach Jim Harbaugh recently called the greatest QB in the National Championship side’s illustrious history, alongside offensive lineman Zak Zinter and LaDarius Henderson, the Wolverines will no doubt be shorthanded come next season.

Moreover, the looming headlines concerning the very much uncertain future of coach Jim Harbaugh, who has

been connected to several open NFL coaching positions casts doubt on Michigan’s prospects for long-term, Georgia or Alabama-style success in the years to come.

But for the time being, Michigan supporters will enjoy their team’s victory and fret about what will happen to them in the following five to ten years.

Blake Corum and JJ McCarthy are predicted to go fairly high in the draft. McCarthy might potentially go to the first round, but it would be more realistic to anticipate him to do so in the late rounds of round two or round four. However, Corum can anticipate hearing his name called on day two, assuming no issues with bad testing or character.
