Michigan Makes Wonderful GENIUS Move in Bama Prep + 5⭐ Transfer To The Wolverines?

In anticipation of their college football playoff semifinal matchup with Alabama on January 1st, Michigan has begun preparations.

As the Wolverines get closer to the Rose Bowl, practices have begun. Younger players also have a fantastic opportunity to step up and put in more work because of the additional bowl practices.

In light of this, I’ve heard that a few young players have been making an impression and attracting attention. However, offensive lineman Andrew Gentry, who may not be as young as he is, has also reportedly been doing the same.

After serving a two-year mission, the 6-foot-7, 327-pound athlete joined in the program in the summer of 2022, giving him a unique background. Although it has taken him some time to regain his playing form, he has persevered and made significant progress since arriving on campus.

This season, he has played at guard and tackle, where he has demonstrated tremendous promise. From what I’ve heard, this has translated to his preparation for the bowl game. There is hope that he can compete and contribute to the rotation, especially because the offensive line is anticipated to change significantly the following season.

Gentry was considered one of the West Coast’s best offensive tackles in the 2020 cycle after graduating from high school.

This is Blair Angulo, the 247Sports Mountain Region Recruiting Analyst,’s scouting report on Andrew Gentry.

Large shoulders and a large lower body. At 310 pounds, I have a strong upper body with room to grow. remarkably nimble considering his bulk. blocks are well-finished. reaches the second floor repeatedly to open running lanes. Release the snap quickly and keep the pad in contact. Excellent run stopper who closes his gaps. He still has room to grow as an overall athlete and as a pass blocker. Potential Power Five multi-year starter and Day 2 pick in the NFL Draft.”
