All Blacks Can Make Up More Ground on Springboks World Rugby Ranking this Weekend
The All Blacks can make up more ground on the Springboks in the world rugby rankings when they face England this weekend.
The Springboks won’t begin their end-of-year tour until next weekend when they tackle Scotland, but there is one mouthwatering fixture for rugby fans to look forward to this Saturday.
In a blockbuster start to the November Tests, England host New Zealand at the Allianz Stadium (formerly Twickenham) in London on Saturday, with kick off at 17:10 (SA time).
Currently, the All Blacks have 88.70 rankings points, still 3.07 points behind the Springboks, who are in second place behind Ireland.
However, if New Zealand can claim a win over fifth-placed England they will make up ground on South Africa on the eve of their end-of-year opener against Scotland next weekend.
Before then, Scotland host Fiji at Murrayfield in Edinburgh this Saturday in another Test which will have World Rugby ranking implications (kick off at 19:40 SA time).
