“He’ll want to go” – BBC pundit says Ange’s “ideal” 100k-p/w ace will look to quit Tottenham

A £100,000-per-week ace has been tipped to look for the Tottenham exit door this summer as Ange Postecoglou is faced with a few key exit decisions.
Spurs players who could leave this summer
The north Londoners could orchestrate somewhat of a mass exodus by the time the next transfer window opens, as a host of players face pretty uncertain futures right now.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has started just a handful of league games this season, despite featuring in almost every match, but the vast majority of his cameos have come from the substitute’s bench.
This has lead to suggestions that the Denmark international could depart Tottenham, especially with just a year remaining on his contract, as the Lilywhites will not want to let him depart for free in 2025.
As many as five senior players are expected to leave Tottenham in the summer, with Djed Spence, Tanguy Ndombele, Joe Rodon, Japhet Tanganga, and Sergio Reguilon don’t appear to be in Postecoglou’s long-term plans and are now out on loan.
The latter, who returned from another time at Manchester United in January and is currently on a temporary stay at Brentford, has not been able to transform his £27.6 million move from Real Madrid in 2020 into success.
If Reguilon wants to continue at Spurs (The Athletic) for 2024–2025, he will also have to take a backseat to star player Destiny Udogie, who is reportedly paid £100,000-per-week.
Reguilon will look to leave Tottenham soon
According to BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Alan Hutton, who is a Tottenham News contributor, Regilon plans to look for work elsewhere this summer in an attempt to resurrect his career.
Hutton told Tottenham News, “I still think he’s a good player, it’s an interesting one.”
He is an attacking full-back who has performed admirably while out on loan. He’s the perfect candidate to step in and play given the circumstances that have just emerged.

Is it possible to get Ange back into the fold because there aren’t enough players playing in the way he wants to play? Will he enjoy himself as the second fiddle? We are aware that Udogie committed to a very long contract, meaning he will be the go-to man going forward.
“Will Reguilon accept the role of second fiddle happily or not? To be honest with you, I don’t think he will. I think his goal will be to go somewhere and play.
“I believe he’ll still try to get out in the summer if he doesn’t go to Brentford because they can’t afford the deal or whatever.”
