Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly held talks over a deal to sign Torino star Alessandro Buongiorno this summer, as per the Italian outlet Calciomercato.

According to reports, the Lilywhites intend to bolster their team during the next window in order to carry on Ange Postecoglou’s rebuilding efforts. The Australian manager wants to strengthen the engine room and the center-forward position, but he also wants to buy a new defender.

After acquiring Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, and Radu Dragusin recently, the Spurs are reportedly still keeping an eye on the Italian market to bolster their roster and have now recognized Buongiorno as a viable possibility, according to the Calciomercato source.
