Anyone who gave Michigan more than a passing glance as it made its way to the national championship in 2023 could tell the Wolverines had serious NFL talent on their roster.

This is, after all, a team that bullied Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama and Washington—formidable opponents all—in a two-month span, effectively putting public furor over allegations of illegal in-person scouting to bed.

On Tuesday, Michigan again received confirmation of its dominance when the Wolverines set a record for most players invited to the NFL draft combine.

A total of eighteen Michigan players were invited to Indianapolis.

McCarthy, running back Blake Corum, wide receivers Cornelius Johnson and Roman Wilson, tight end AJ Barner, offensive lineman Larsen Barnhart, offensive lineman LaDarius Henderson, offensive lineman Trevor Jones, offensive lineman Trevor Keegan, offensive lineman Drake Nugent, offensive lineman Zak Zinter, defensive end Jaylen Harrell, defensive lineman Kris Jenkins, defensive end Braiden McGregor, linebackers Michael Barrett and Junior Colson, defensive back Mike Sainristil, and defensive back Josh Wallace are the players listed.
