Amazing:Jude Bellingham posts wordless reaction to James Maddison’s superb Instagram post after Tottenham win

Jude Bellingham was amongst those to respond to James Maddison on social media after the Tottenham Hotspur star poked fun at Neal Maupay on Wednesday night.

This season, Spurs contributed to yet another outstanding Premier League match. After a spectacular first half of play, Ange Postecoglou’s team overcame a 1-0 deficit to take a 3-1 lead. A second goal from Brentford would set up a nerve-wracking finale. However, Tottenham secured a crucial three points.

It’s safe to assume that Brentford’s theatrics in the first half infuriated Tottenham. The Bees appeared utterly determined to annoy the home team. And after Neil Maupay broke the impasse, he and Ivan Toney gave the Tottenham supporters a fit by imitating James Maddison’s celebration.

Maupay absolutely loves to annoy rival players and fans, it seems. So it was no surprise that he was prepared to mimic Maddison. But perhaps it was not the smartest idea given how early in the game the goal came.

And it is certainly not a shock to see Maddison mock Maupay in response. On Instagram, the Tottenham co-vice-captain posted what he described as a short story, with the first image showing Maupay celebrating, and the third displaying the final score.

Tottenham recover from frustrating first-half

It seemed as though Brentford’s strategy would succeed. The stadium’s interior was growing increasingly tense. And there were occasions when the supporters would not see an unambitious pass favorably.

But in the second half, Tottenham was a completely different team. It serves as one more reminder that Ange Postecoglou’s team is unbeatable.

When Maupay scored 15 minutes in, maybe he should have recalled it.
