DONE DEAL: Pape Sarr signs new Tottenham contract through 2030
It’s done! Pape Matar Sarr has signed a massive new contract at Tottenham Hotspur before jetting off to Qatar for
Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations. His new agreement is for a long time—it expires in June 2030!
We are happy to announce that the Club and @papematarsarr15 have inked a new agreement that will last until 2030!

Following a similar agreement of a similar nature for Italian fullback Destiny Udogie, comes this new contract. It’s encouraging to see him actually writing it, even if several football journalists in the UK and elsewhere stated last week that it was almost finished.
Sarr and Udogie represent a youth movement at Tottenham Hotspur and it’s fantastic to get long-term commitments from them as they’ll be centerpieces under Ange Postecoglou for years. For Sarr, this new deals
is a reward for some excellent play in the middle for Spurs this season; under Postecoglou, he has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet and is still developing. He will only improve, and he will do so while wearing a Spurs shirt.
Although his pay has not been disclosed, I would anticipate it to be roughly £75k per week, in line with Udogie’s new contract. This appeases Sarr and allows Spurs the leeway to potentially extend the deal in the future if necessary.
Sarr may not play for a long as he is traveling with Senegal to the AFCON, but this is still fantastic news! Let’s rejoice!
