Report: Agent could play decisive role in January deal between Spurs and Juventus

TuttoSport have claimed that Italian football agent Fabrizio De Vecchi could play an important role in facilitating Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s move to Juventus next month.

The rumors that Hojbjerg would join Juventus have not abated, even in light of Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury and the fact that the Spurs will be without Yves Bissouma and Papa Sarr next month because of the African Cup of Nations.

Calciomercato revealed just last week that the Serie A powerhouses had established new communication with the midfielder’s group, with manager Massimiliano Allegri and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli reportedly being fans of the Tottenham player.

Agent could play a role in Hojbjerg to Juventus

More on Juve’s pursuit of Hojbjerg can now be found on TuttoSport, which explains that the Dane broke up with his previous agent, Pini Zahavi, in September because he was not satisfied with the way a transfer went through the previous summer.

The Old Lady are anticipated to enlist the assistance of De Vecchi, who has handled multiple transfers for them in the past, as the 28-year-old is rumored to be eager to leave.

The article continues by saying that if Spurs were ready to loan the former Southampton player with a buyout option, he would be a solid choice to support Juventus’s midfield player.

Tottenham will undoubtedly insist on a loan agreement with a purchase obligation or a permanent move. Spurs have little to gain from a pure loan, thus I don’t think they would consider one with an option. Until next summer, Ange would probably prefer to have the Dane on the team.
