Wales wing’s injury not expected to be serious

Cardiff Wing Josh Adams’ injury, sustained during their Champions Cup loss to Bath, isn’t anticipated to be serious. The Wales international was substituted off the field after thirty minutes.

In the first thirty minutes, Adams had crossed for two tries; the injury resulted after his second score. But thereafter, Cardiff coach Matt Sherratt downplayed the severity of his injuries.

“He’s fine,” Sherratt remarked. “Hopefully, it’s only a limp leg. There shouldn’t be any structural elements.

“He appears to be limping a little bit. He has a team social tomorrow, so maybe his leg will be ready. To be honest, I’m happy for him. That was what he needed. On his first attempt, he received a bounce. He’s been putting in a lot of work, and at the moment, he’s probably just on the edge of things.

Thus, he required something similar to succeed, and he was fully engaged in the game. He just happened to have a dead limb, so I didn’t want to put him at risk at that time.

“This guy, Gabe Hamer-Webb, is here on loan. And Ex-Bath. Watching get over the line was fantastic. That one, I believe, he liked.”

Flanagan takes positives after ‘painful’ defeat

A significantly altered With a lead in the last seconds, the Dragons team appeared poised to upset the dominant Top 14. But, the moment the clock turned red, victory was stolen from them, and Flanagan acknowledged that it was difficult to accept the outcome.

It’s a difficult outcome, he remarked afterward. “Losing hurts no matter when it happens, especially when you consider the two teams and their respective performances.

Wales’s stars will gain from Rob Howley’s comeback as they discover the ideal mentor for the future.

We played well as a well-rounded rugby team tonight, in my opinion. Simply said, it’s unfortunate that we gave up three tries when we had the upper hand. We must improve.

The fact that we can come out here and rotate our team a little bit is good because the players have earned that opportunity, he continued. “Pau are having a great season, especially here at home.”

We have a 14-game streak going on, and these guys deserve the chance. Many of them have demonstrated that they are capable of keeping the jersey after that performance.”
