Massive blow as Tottenham are set to be without their star player for 6 games

Tottenham Hotspur face a significant blow as superstar Heung-min Son is set to miss several weeks of action due to his commitments at the Asian Cup starting January.

With 15 Premier League games this season, the South Korean attacker has scored 10 goals, demonstrating his exceptional form.

The Asian Cup is slated to take place from January 12 to February 10, thus Son’s absence puts Spurs in a vulnerable position.

Furthermore, South Korea, one of the favorites, is predicted to advance far in the competition, which might mean a protracted absence.

In January, Spurs have three games planned, including an FA Cup encounter that, should they win, will lead to another match later in the month.

He will miss two games in February, against Brighton and Everton, but they will be hoping that Son is back for the encounter with the Seagulls.

He has become one of the team’s most important players, therefore Ange will suffer greatly from his absence.

Even if Richarlison scored a brace against Newcastle and appeared to be back to his best, Son’s absence might have a significant impact.

Spurs need to recruit a striker immediately in January, and they are apparently targeting a forward or a left winger.
