‘For 101 reasons’: Journalist has now made a claim about Sheikh Jassim buying Tottenham
Sheikh Jassim will not be buying Manchester United.
The Qatari has pulled out of the race to become the new owner of the Red Devils as Jim Ratcliffe instead looks set to become a minority shareholder at Old Trafford.
Of course, it doesn’t happen very frequently for a multi-billionaire to not receive their desired outcome, and following his failure with United, many are predicting that Sheikh Jassim may soon be looking for another Premier League team.
The Sheikh has been linked to Tottenham as a prospective takeover target, although Gabriel Marcotti said on ESPN that this is quite unlikely.
Sheikh Jassim won’t be allowed to purchase any club due to his connections to QSI, according to Marcotti, who claims that there are 101 reasons for this.

Along Judge Nedum Onuoha, Marcotti rendered a judgment in this case.
Sheikh Jassim is being connected to Tottenham now that he won’t be purchasing Manchester United, Gab,” Onuoha added.
“I don’t see this happening for 101 reasons, but he will continue to be associated with every club out there that is purportedly for sale. The United situation was one thing, but owning more than one club is becoming more popular. Sheikh Jassim isn’t a QSI, but he’s also not that far away, Marcotti added.
Difficult
Sheikh Jassim might have a hard time right now finding a club to invest in.
The majority of the major Premier League teams are currently not for sale, and as Marcotti noted, there are currently concerns around multi-club ownership and his connections to QSI.
It will be intriguing to observe how these situations develop in the upcoming years, especially at Tottenham after Daniel Levy announced he was open to investment. Football club ownership is more difficult than it has ever been.
