‘He’s somebody’: Pundit suggests £15m man is the weak link in Tottenham’s starting team now

Keith Treacy, who was on Off The Ball, claimed that Tottenham aren’t there yet.
The pundit claimed that there are simply too many holes in the Spurs side and that a player like Pape Sarr is insufficient to close the gap between Spurs and teams like Arsenal or Man City.

Treacy shared his verdict on the £15m midfielder’s ability.
“Pape Sarr, he’s somebody who I don’t think is going to bridge that gap between Spurs and Man City or Spurs and Arsenal, so there are question marks there, but they have gotten an awful lot stronger this year,” Treacy said.

To blame Sarr for Spurs’ inability to win a championship this year is a bit harsh.
Yes, Tottenham is probably still a ways off from being a legitimate title contender this season, but Sarr has been outstanding thus far.
Although this young player seems to become better every single week, when everyone is healthy, he probably isn’t even Spurs’ first choice.
Sarr is a more than viable rotation option for any team in international football, even one that is in championship contention, while Rodrigo Bentancur will likely enter the side once he is fit and blazing again.
Sarr isn’t the issue in Spurs’ struggle to compete, but they are still a few steps away from being a serious contender.

“Ndombélé is not your typical athlete. I am impressed when I watch Fred. It would be quite different if he played for Galatasaray, as I indicated in the previous broadcast, Fred, but I believe Ndombélé will also become well-known, according to Dindar.
The Tottenham player has been named to Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk’s roster for the match against Manchester United, but it is unclear whether he will play at Old Trafford.
