‘A glider’ – Jude Bellingham says one Spurs star looks effortless on the pitch

Jude Bellingham has praised James Maddison for the way the Tottenham midfielder glides across the pitch.

While Maddison was already widely seen as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League thanks to his exploits at Leicester City, his stock has now understandably gone up following his move to Spurs.

The 26-year-old midfielder has swiftly established himself as a crucial member of Ange Postecoglou’s team, and now that he is doing it on a larger stage, people are starting to sit up and take note of him.

In the most recent Euro qualifiers against Ukraine, Maddison began for England before players like Phil Foden, which highlights his growing significance for the Three Lions lineup.

Jude Bellingham is a big James Maddison fan

The Tottenham player was selected as the Premier League Player of the Month for August, and Bellingham left the remark “Love it Sheriff” in response to his Instagram photo about winning the honor.

As he discussed Maddison’s qualities in the newest EA FC video game, the Real Madrid player showered the player with even more praise.

It’s a beautiful card, Bellingham said to England’s YouTube channel. However, you are not a sprinter; rather, you are a glider or a floater. You only ever consider that Madders is present and never consider, “Oh what a run.”

Maddison’s passing and shooting have always been among the finest, but I was unaware of how swift his feet were until recently. Every time he picks up the ball from distance, he exhibits how well his feet and ability to drop his shoulder make him quite press-resistant.

Chelsea fighting losing battle with top Tottenham target ready to quit after Pochettino decision

Conor Gallagher, a midfielder for Chelsea, is being pursued by Tottenham and may decide to leave the team if he is removed from the starting lineup.

The millions of dollars that Stamford Bridge has spent during the last transfer windows have not yet produced many benefits. Since Todd Boehly became the club’s owner less than a year ago, Chelsea has spent close to £1 billion.

Due to the inability of the players to work as a team, the Blues could only accomplish a 12th-place finish the previous season.

Given their stature and the amount of money they spent, a team the size of Chelsea would have anticipated finishing significantly higher in the league.

More money was spent this summer, but it hasn’t yet translated into improvements on the field.

The Blues, managed by Mauricio Pochettino, are now 14th in the Premier League standings after five games with just one victory.

It is obvious that the significant expenditure has yet to pay off, which may lead to additional issues in the future.

Due to their significant spending, Chelsea has sold a number of academy players, including Mason Mount, Calum Hudson-Odoi, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, in an effort to comply with Financial FairPlay rules.

Gallagher could quit as a result

Gallagher, a midfielder, may now leave Chelsea as a result of their spending. If he loses his starting spot before January, the Englishman “could change his stance on quitting,” according to Football Insider.

In the summer, he attracted interest from a few teams, but he wanted to stay to ‘fight for’ new boss Pochettino in the hopes that he would be given a chance in his squad.

He has been, having started each game thus far this year and twice serving as the Blues’ captain.

However, £115 million man Moises Caicedo and £58 million summer acquisition Romeo Lavia have yet to play; when they are available, Pochettino will undoubtedly be considering both.

With potential pressure on Gallagher, if he’s ousted, he could apparently choose to leave the club.

Tottenham ramp up Chelsea pressure

Should he decide to leave the Stamford Bridge project, Tottenham might be the perfect place for him to go. The north London team put in an offer for him in the summer because they were interested, and it’s been reported that they are ‘considering a return’ in January.

According to rumors, Gallagher’s future at Chelsea may depend on his financial status.

In fact, given that Financial FairPlay is undoubtedly still looming over them, they may need to sell him. According to reports, they would contemplate the sale if the price was right, and Tottenham might gain from that choice.

With the odds stacked against the Blues, they may be in risk of losing the star, and their significant spending may be the reason the talented young player leaves the team.
