Ange Postecoglou confirms Tottenham setback against Sheffield United with another midfielder ruled out now

Tottenham are unbeaten in five consecutive home matches against Sheffield United.

Giovani Lo Celso, an Argentine midfielder, will not play for Tottenham against Sheffield United in today’s Premier League match, according to manager Ange Postecoglou.

The former Real Betis player hasn’t played as much as he would have liked this season due to injury, and his boss says he won’t be available for the match against the Blades.

Prior to the game, Postecoglou informed the media that “He is not available for this weekend. He joined us for training yesterday, but we’ll wait another week.

Midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has returned to practice after being missing. The Uruguayan international was let go from training 30 minutes after joining the team, disappointing him.

However, manager Postecoglou claims that everything was done for his benefit since everything must be handled carefully to prevent breakdown. The Spurs manager continued, “Rehab is the hardest part. Ask any player; it’s not just the work; there’s also the lonesome aspect of it. Although yesterday he was buzzing, this is good.

“Fair to say he has a fair bit of work to do and great to have him involved. He was dejected of course when we had to pull him out of it after half an hour.”

Tottenham have won three and drawn one of their first four league games so far and will hope to secure the win that makes this their best start to the season in the last decade.

Tottenham have won three successive league matches, which they failed to do at any stage last season.
