‘Weak link’: £32m Tottenham player had an absolute nightmare  last night

It’s clear that Tottenham Hotspur have been keen to make the most of the loan market this season, seeking moves for several players.

Ashley Phillips and Alfie Devine left for Plymouth Argyle in January with Ange Postecoglou’s approval, presumably to get some first-team experience.

Alejo Veliz was also sent to Sevilla on loan last month, demonstrating Spurs’ relentless pursuit of opportunities.

Along with some of the aforementioned young players, Tottenham also has some veteran players who are playing elsewhere in an effort to boost their sell-on value.

This season, Tanguy Ndombele is at Galatasaray, Joe Rodon is at Leeds United, and Sergio Reguilon is at Brentford, to name a few.

With his team expanding, Ange Postecoglou will undoubtedly be looking to make a lot of progress in the summer, and those names mentioned may help raise some significant money.

Having said that, Sergio Reguilon’s rising star at Brentford may have suffered a slight setback against West Ham United last night.

The defender on loan from Tottenham has had a rough start to the second half of the season with his new team, but yesterday night was a rough one.
