Tottenham now eyeing up £20m Championship player as Postecoglou’s 3rd January signing
Tottenham Hotspur are now eyeing up a potential move for Norwich City winger Jonathan Rowe as Ange Postecoglou eyes more signings.
Although Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin joined Spurs earlier this month, Postecoglou is eager to bolster his team as much as possible.
Joao Gomes and Conor Gallagher are the midfield’s desired objectives. But a new winger hasn’t been completely ruled out, and Rowe seems to be attracting attention right now.
According to Football London, Tottenham are among a number of clubs that have an interest in signing Rowe, who has scored 12 times this season for the Canaries.

Rowe is a guy that Tottenham is keeping an eye on as they continue to search for young players to bolster their roster, according to the report from FL.
This season, Rowe has blossomed for Norwich, scoring double figures and continuously pleasing boss David Wagner.
Carlton Palmer, a former Sheffield Wednesday player, praised the young player for his Norwich performances and thinks Norwich can fetch at least £20 million for him should they decide to sell.
Of course, James Maddison, a star player for Tottenham now, spent time at Norwich before rising to prominence in the Premier League.
Tottenham will therefore have faith in Rowe’s ability to produce when called upon.
One of the Championship’s best
Some players in the Championship just stand out and Jonathan Rowe is one of them.
The youngster has caught the eye so many times and even the big occasions against teams like Ipswich haven’t fazed him one bit.
Moving to Spurs would obviously be a significant step up in class, but considering his talent and confidence, he would undoubtedly welcome the opportunity.
Tottenham has a history of making bids for elite young players; this summer, they acquired Brennan Johnson after he demonstrated his abilities in the Championship and Premier League.
Quite whether Rowe would be able to make that immediate transition without a season at the top level is open for contention.
However, Rowe is right up there among Championship players worth signing for elite teams, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see him end up in north London.
