Done deal.;Tottenham agree €25 million-plus deal for top target, player will sign contract until 2029
Tottenham Hotspur have an agreement in place with Genoa for the transfer of the 21-year-old defender Radu Dragusin.
Radu Dragusin is a desired addition to Tottenham Hotspur’s roster, according to Florian Plettenberg. The 21-year-old Genoa defender is their top target as they look to strengthen their defense during the current transfer window. They have an agreement with Genoa and are working hard to finish this deal in the upcoming days.
Dragusin Juventus may not have been successful, but he has made progress since heading on a season-long loan to Genoa in the summer of 2022. After the decision to permanently relocate was made last summer, he has only gotten stronger.
The 21-year-old centre-back has made quite a name for himself and there are multiple clubs from across Europe that would love to acquire his services. Napoli and Bayern Munich are two European giants who are interested in
the Romanian international’s services.
However, they are now trailing Tottenham Hotspur in the fight for his signature, and they will miss out on the former Juventus defender’s contract if they do not make an official bid within the next few hours.
The new season got off to a great start for the London club. They were leading the Premier League at the beginning of the season, but injuries and a shallow team have caused them to drop to fifth place. In order to meet their goals, Spurs hope to recover in the second half and are aiming to bolster their team.
Ange Postecoglou, their Australian manager, is looking to bring in another center, and he thinks Dragusin is a talent to watch. The 21-year-old might be a fantastic long-term and short-term addition to their team. He will bring a great deal of quality to their backline in addition to depth.
Spurs and Genoa have been in negotiations for some time, and this morning both teams have come to a complete understanding over the trade. Spurs persuaded the Italian club to accept a trade that will cost them €25 million plus add-ons, despite their initial demand for a fixed fee of €30 million. The athlete is prepared to sign a contract through the summer.
