Scott McKenna was linked with Celtic just 24 hours ago as the Nottingham Forest defender looks for a way out of the Premier League side.
The Scotland center back is not in new manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s future plans as he is surplus to requirements at the City Ground.
Since McKenna’s contract expires at the end of the season, it is expected that he will move out on loan in January and then look for a permanent residence in the summer.
According to a report from Sky Sports on Friday, McKenna was being pursued by both Rangers and Celtic, and it appeared that a Glasgow transfer battle between the two teams was imminent.
