Tottenham’s plans to sign a new defender appear to be ramping up, with Jean-Clair Todibo the name being mentioned a lot.

Spurs now have Todibo as a top target.According to reports, the club and Todibo have begun negotiations on a January relocation to north London.

Todibo is also rumored to be eager to join Tottenham provided they can work out a suitable agreement with Nice.

In a further development, the Evening Standard now claims that Todibo has received some assurances from Spurs.

Todibo may be wondering what his position on the squad will be given that Cristian Romero is set to stay put and Micky van de Ven will be returning in early 2024.
