Kaizer Chiefs tried to ship Sibongiseni Mthethwa out on loan before the transfer deadline but he’s still at the club. What are Nabi’s plans ahead of the Sundowns game?
NABI PROVIDES AN UPDATE ON MTHETHWA
Mthethwa completed 55 tackles in 18 Betway Premiership matches last season, making him one of the most efficient defensive midfielders in the division. Against Gallants, Nabi opted for a double pivot of Samkelo Zwane and Yusuf Maart. Against AmaZulu, he dropped Zwane and brought Blom in to partner Maart. Here’s what Nabi had to say about Mthethwa via iDiskiTimes:
“We have 32 players and I have respect for all of them,” he said after his side’s 3-1 win at AmaZulu.
“Why do you only ask me about Mthethwa, I have other players as well. We are a group and we are all [united] as a group.
“Mthethwa has good qualities, maybe after today he is starting for the Sundowns game.
“But I don’t want to talk too much about single players, I want to talk about all players.”
