Dome: Analyst Reveals Expectations For Clippers In New Arena
The Los Angeles Clippers just officially unveiled their brand new stadium, the cutting-edge Intuit Dome.
But how much success will they find in their new home?
Speaking with SiriusXM NBA Radio, Norm Nixon said the Clippers need to deliver a lot at the Intuit Dome.
“You have to win some championships,” Nixon said, adding that the Clippers have been outplaying their LA rivals, the Lakers, for years and need to push even harder in the seasons ahead.

Nixon is right when he says the Clippers have had better regular season records than the Lakers.
In that way, they are the superior Los Angeles team.
However, the Lakers won a championship in 2020, earned the first NBA Cup last year, and are still more popular with many southern California residents.
The Clippers have a better record but still live under the shadow of the Lakers.
They need to win a championship to prove, once and for all, just how dominant they can be.
That was a tall order before but it may be even harder now.
The team lost a few important pieces in the summer, including Paul George and Russell Westbrook.
The Clippers will now be once again led by Kawhi Leonard, an NBA juggernaut who sadly repeatedly gets hurt.
Their chances of postseason greatness have diminished a bit over the last few months but they could still do great things.
Is a championship possible during their first year in the Intuit Dome or will Clippers fans continue to wait?
