Minnesota took a chance on JJ McCarthy from Michigan with the 11th pick. We still have long way to go before the start of the season, however, fans aren’t wasting any time in critiquing the rookie.

McCarthy attended the Vikings’ rookie minicamp this weekend. When one of his passes sailed right, fans took notice:
Of course, rookie minicamp doesn’t mean a whole heck of a lot when it comes to McCarthy’s ability to turn into a franchise quarterback. However, some fans couldn’t resist reacting to the throw:

After the practice, McCarthy said he felt pretty comfortable on the field directing the offense for the first time.
