Former Louisville Forward Kaleb Glenn Announces Transfer Destination
Glenn is the seventh former Cardinal to announce his transfer destination this offseason.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – One of the first players to depart the Louisville men’s basketball program following the end of their 2022-23 season has found his new home.
Former Cardinals forward Kaleb Glenn announced Thursday that he has committed to Florida Atlantic. Glenn is now the seventh former Card overall to find his new transfer home.
Skyy Clark is heading back home to UCLA, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and Mike James are joining forces at NC State, Tre White is going to play for Illinois, J.J. Traynor will finish his career at DePaul while Curtis Williams will continue his at Georgetown.
The 6-foot-6, 205-pound forward made a noticeable impact as a true freshman, especially down the stretch. As As one of only four Cardinals to participate in all 32 games, Glenn averaged 3.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 48.6 percent from the field per game. He also made 11 starts. He scored 8.0 points and pulled down 4.8 rebounds on average throughout the season’s last nine games.
Glenn attended Louisville (Ky.) Male for his first three years of high school, which is located right next to the University of Louisville campus. For his final year, he transferred to La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere. There, he averaged 15.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. According to 247Sports Composite, he graduated from high school as the No. 75 prospect in the Class of 2023.
In September 2021, he made a pledge to former Louisville head coach Chris Mack. He remained true to that commitment even after Mack and Louisville mutually decided to part ways.
Since being hired on March 28, Pat Kelsey, the new head coach of Louisville, and his staff have made rapid progress in the recruiting trail, with the team expected to return merely walk-on guard Hercy Miller from the previous campaign. In this cycle, the Cardinals have already secured seven transfer pledges.
James Scott and Reyne Smith are joining Kelsey from Charleston, along with Terrence Edwards Jr. from James Madison, J’Vonne Hadley from Colorado, Aly Khalifa from BYU, Koren Johnson from Washington, and Aboubacar Traore from Long Beach State.
