DONE DEAl: Celtics Sign ‘£6m’ Star As they Find Joe Hart’s Replacement.

Celtic is reportedly in the process of identifying a possible goalkeeper for the upcoming campaign, as they get ready for the possibility of playing without first-choice Joe Hart.

The former England international is currently relishing in his final few weeks of a legendary career in goal, and he will look to cap out his time at Parkhead with another Premiership and Scottish Cup victory.

Although Hart has gained popularity since moving to Glasgow, he has faced criticism for some of his performances in the third season, which has been the most difficult in Scotland to date.

Celtic’s chances of winning a championship the following season will depend on finding a worthy Hart substitute. According to rumors from Football Insider, the reigning champions are now considering Austrian international Patrick Pentz.

Pentz is presently on loan from recently crowned Bundesliga winner Bayer Leverkusen to Danish team Brondby.

The 27-year-old has shown promise this year and is a member of the Brondby team, which is headed for its third league championship in the previous 20 years and its 12th overall.

With nine clean sheets in 24 games, Pentz has been a major contributor to that, positioning him as a candidate for Ralf Ragnick’s Euro 2024 team this summer.

The goalkeeper’s Leverkusen contract is scheduled to end in June 2025, therefore teams looking to sign him on a cheap deal when the transfer window reopens are hoping to make a move soon. But, Football Insider is aware that Southampton, a team vying for promotion from the Championship, and PSV, a team from the Eredivisie, will compete with them to sign him.

Rangers keen to strike Abdallah Sima deal

Rangers are moving toward a £6 million deal with Brighton and hope to extend Abdallah Sima’s loan agreement permanently in the summer, as TalkSport reports.

This season, Sima has become a fan favorite after making 37 appearances in all competitions and scoring an amazing 16 goals. The Belgian hopes to contribute his speed and inventiveness once more in the upcoming season, as they have been crucial to Philippe Clement’s incredible comeback.

The Senegal international recently stated in an interview that he is thrilled to be in Glasgow. “This has been the ideal team for me,” he remarked. I’m thrilled to be here as a young player because I get to play these games, get experience, and have my teammates support me.

“This season has surprised me, but I’m a winner and I want to win. Here, I want to come out on top. That’s the reason I like this club. For the sake of this team and the supporters, who I believe deserve it, I aim to win everything.

“It’s not only up to me, but I’m enjoying myself here, and my family is too. The supporters are incredible; in my opinion, they are the finest.
