Tottenham are serious for 17 assist breakthrough star – Spurs will ‘make an offer’ within weeks
At the weekend, Fanatik stated Tottenham Hotspur have identified Fenerbahçe’s Sebastian Szymański as a target to replace Giovani Lo Celso in the summer window.
Lo Celso isn’t pleased with his limited game time in recent months and would like to leave the north London club.
According to Damga Gazetesi, Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen have “stepped in” to sign the player; Napoli and Sevilla have now entered the transfer sweepstakes alongside these two teams.
With 12 goals and 17 assists in 50 games since joining the Yellow Canaries in the summer, the attacking midfielder has performed admirably in his first season.
The Poland international’s current contract expires in2028, and if Fenerbahçe decides to cash in on his sale during the upcoming window, it is rumored that they want to receive at least €30 million.
It appears as though Szymański ‘will fly out’ from the Turkish team at the end of current season, according to Fotomaç. Clubs are becoming more interested in him, and Fenerbahçe has begun to get the “letter of interest.”
It’s explained that the ‘most serious clubs’ are Tottenham and Sevilla. These two teams will contact Fenerbahçe at the end of this season and will ‘make an offer’ for the Pole.
With Fenerbahçe wanting at least €30m, Spurs, Sevilla or any other club have to meet their request to sign Szymański.

Luka Modric insists that Redknapp helped him, and Spurs produced the finest football in the Premier League while he was their coach.
The legendary Real Madrid player stated in an interview with Optus Sport:
“I have nothing but praise for Harry [Redknapp].” Although he is an excellent instructor, I was even more impressed by the amazing man he is on the inside. Up until my departure from Tottenham, he was a big help to me. Working with him brought back good memories for which I will always be grateful.
