Jason Dunn Breaks Down Most Important Impact Players for Chiefs in the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is nearly underway and plenty of people will be talking about the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

Much of the conversation has been about quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy, but other players are important and impactful too. In fact, Jason Dunn of Chief Concerns joined the Game Plan to discuss those players the Chiefs will need to lean on to take home the big win.

The backup offensive lineman who will start in place of Joe Thuney in the big game is Nick Allegretti, who performed admirably against the Baltimore Ravens. Allegretti has earned his opportunity, even though it is not ideal to enter the biggest game of the year with a backup.

Chris Jones is undoubtedly among the best defensive tackles in game history. Therefore, he will have a significant impact, particularly following Brock Purdy and in preventing Christian McCaffrey from reaching new heights.”

Dunn is pointing out defensive lineman Chris Jones, who a lot of people think will be the Chiefs’ biggest differentiator. For a lineman, Jones’ 10.5 sack total in the 2023 campaign is remarkable.

Purdy is known to perform poorly while under pressure throughout the duration of a game, so Jones should rattle him frequently and early to throw him off guard.
