‘It will happen’… ‘Electric’ forward now suggests he will actually sign for Tottenham this summer
Roony Bardghji has now suggested that he could sign for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Spurs have sealed the deal to sign Lucas Bergvall by beating Barcelona in the race for his signature. Dejan Kulusevski played a part in that move, and now, Bardghji has refused to rule out joining the Scandinavian duo at Tottenham.
Roony Bardghji suggests he could join Tottenham
Tottenham have been linked with a move to sign Roony Bardghji for months now.
Most recently, there were rumors that Ange Postecoglou might attempt to sign Bardghji following the failure of Spurs’ attempt to recruit Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge.
Currently, one of the most gifted players in Scandinavia is the eighteen-year-old. He is a treasure with a bright future ahead of him.
In reference to his connections to Tottenham, Bardghji was questioned by Aftonbladet about the possibility of joining fellow Scandinavians Lucas Bergvall and Dejan Kulusevski at the Spurs.
The young player, who represents Copenhagen in Denmark, retorted, saying it’s entertaining to consider.
“You never know, it might occur.” Hard to say at this time.
Bardghji is like a young Lionel Messi
It comes as no surprise that Roony Bardghji has been connected to a significant transfer to Tottenham given his excellent season for Copenhagen.
This season, the teenager has already tallied 11 goals, or one per 138 minutes. That average surpasses that of Spurs captain Heung-min Son (144).
Bardghji is a player with enormous potential; according to Football Talent Scout, his “electric pace and acceleration” make him “extremely dangerous on the counter,” similar to a young Lionel Messi.
The teenage Swede has now made a move to Tottenham possible, so it will be intriguing to see if Spurs pursue this in the upcoming months.
