According to Bruceler’s most recent 2024 NFL mock draft, which was made public on January 16, the Steelers would select Iowa cornerback Cooper DeJean.
DeJean, one of the best athletes available, is an accomplished outside corner, inside corner, and box/middle-field defender, according to Brigger. “To watch DeJean in action, I’ll be submitting a petition to the NFL asking them to include a dunk competition at the combine. Additionally, we already know that he looks good in black and gold.
