Celtic dealt transfer blow as striker ‘satisfied’ at current club
Although some may not think the January transfer window has been open for very long, the month is nearly halfway through.
It goes without saying that neither Celtic nor Rangers have had the busiest transfer window to far. The Hoops have yet to add any new players, and Rangers have only added Wolves striker Fabio Silva, who joined on loan at the beginning of the month. Supporters will be hoping to witness at least one, if not more, arrivals before the Hoops’ Scottish Cup return matchup against Buckie Thistle of the Highland League, which is scheduled for next Sunday.
Although there haven’t been any finalised deals there has been no shortage of rumours doing the rounds and one of the earliest of the window is starting to look increasingly unlikely. Celtic were linked with Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski towards the end of December but talk of him switching Pittodrie for Celtic Park this month has cooled down over the past two weeks.
