Alasdair Gold says Spurs have now made a decision on young Jamie Donley
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has said that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to turn down any loan offers for Jamie Donley during this month’s transfer window.
Donley has perhaps been the best of the bunch thus far for Tottenham’s Under-21 team, despite the fact that many of the young players have performed admirably.
The adaptable forward, who can play in the Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy (Transfermarkt) as a number nine, a second striker, or an offensive midfielder, has achieved six goals and twelve assists in twelve games.
This season, the 19-year-old has been rewarded with three senior games; the most recent being on Friday during Tottenham’s FA Cup third-round victory against Burnley.

Donley’s desire to stay with Tottenham indicates that Postecoglou believes the young player is potentially ready to contribute to the senior team in the event that there are a few more injuries.
Maybe the Australian coach is just trying to be safe, especially because Son will be out of action for a month. Still, it can’t help but believe that Donely would benefit greatly from regular competitive minutes in the Championship.
