Sky Sports reports that Tottenham Hotspur and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement to sign Timo Werner during the January transfer window.
The former attacker for Chelsea will first be on loan at Tottenham. In the summer of 2024, the North London club will have the opportunity to make it permanent.
Werner is a quick and strong player, and according to The Guardian, Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou was the one looking to sign him.

My View: Timo Werner cannot play as a striker for Tottenham Hotspur
Timo Werner cannot be used as a striker by Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou, in my opinion. The former Chelsea player ought to be used off Richarlison or out wide, in my opinion.
Werner works hard and with pace, yet he doesn’t produce much. In his eight Bundesliga games this season, the Germany international has only managed two goals.
In his 56 Premier League games while at Chelsea, the forward scored 10 goals.
