‘He’s on their list’: Journalist claims Tottenham are keen on 27-year-old ace
VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy has been in outstanding form this season and he has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga recently.
Several Premier League clubs are thought to be keen on the 27-year-old striker and journalist Paul Brown has now claimed that he is on the list for Tottenham.
“I think there might be a lot of clubs coming in for him and it’ll be interesting to see whether he decides he fancies a move or not, but I certainly think that going to Spurs would interest him.
He’s going to play a lot there; they seem like a team on the rise, and if they can keep up their momentum and get some players back healthy, it wouldn’t surprise me if they made it into the Champions League once more this season.
“Therefore, I believe they would present a very appealing offer to someone like Guirassy, and I am fairly certain he is on their list.”
It would be unexpected if the North London team chose to pursue another striker this month as they are very close to an agreement to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. Instead, they should add key midfielders and defenders.
Without a doubt, Guirassy would be a fantastic addition to the North London team and have the ability to completely change them in the closing third. Tottenham, though, has more urgent requirements.
Due to a fair release clause in his contract, the striker is probably going to move this month; it will be intriguing to see where he ends up. This season, he has already scored 19 goals in all competitions, proving that he is competent enough to compete in the Premier League.
Spurs have not yet acquired a top-tier scorer to take Harry Kane’s place, and the 27-year-old would have been a fantastic backup. Tottenham would have been an interesting option for Guirassy, who will be aiming to join a great team capable of winning major trophies.
