He further states that Postecoglou will have the final say on whether to play the center back in Spurs’ FA Cup match against Burnley on Friday, January 5, or whether to save him for the team’s January 14 trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United. O Keefe adds that “barring any late setbacks,” the 22-year-old should be back in the lineup for at least one of these games, if not both.
For the manager, who has spent the last few weeks having to play center-backs like Emerson Royal and Ben Davies, this will be a huge help.
