Only two Wolverines are currently listed on the NCAA football transfer portal: Leon Franklin and CJ Stokes, both running backs. Former Michigan football cornerback Andre Seldon enters transfer portal
Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan Wolverines were very interested in four-star defensive back Andre Seldon Jr. coming out of high school. Seldon was listed as the No. 23 defensive back in the class of 2020 and the No. 8 recruit in the state of Michigan.
Despite having a lackluster career as a football player for Michigan, Seldon was able to letter for the Wolverines in both of his two seasons in Ann Arbor. In 2021, he even won Academic All-Big Ten recognition. The former football player for Michigan played in two Wolverine games: one against Northern Illinois in 2021 and one against Rutgers in 2020.
Andre Seldon is currently looking for a new home via the transfer portal after playing for two more seasons at New Mexico State. It looks that some large colleges are already interested in signing him. The former Michigan defender, who has been chosen team captain and has racked up over 90 tackles, two interceptions, fifteen pass breakups, and more over the last several seasons, will soon be visiting Wisconsin.
Naturally, this is all conjecture on my side, but Michigan football needs cornerbacks in the transfer portal before the 2024 campaign begins. Domani Jackson is already a high target, but importing Andre
