‘It’s a realistic possibility’ – Pundit claims Newcastle could now sign Tottenham player

Paul Robinson claims that Hugo Lloris is a “better option” than Eddie Howe’s existing backups to the injured Nick Pope, making him a “realistic possibility” for Newcastle to buy from Tottenham.

Both former Old Trafford number one David de Gea and veteran Spurs starter and captain Lloris, according to former England goalkeeper Robinson, would be an improvement above Loris Karius and Martin Dubravka.
You might also look at Hugo Lloris and David de Gea, both of whom are better than what he currently has, but he needs to use his words carefully.

“He’s got to say that because he needs his goalkeepers before January. The two that he’s got in Karius and Dubravka are not at the level that Nick Pope is.
Hugo Lloris and David de Gea are two more possibilities that you may consider; both are superior to what he now has, but he needs to be strategic in his speech.
