Springboks: RG Snyman’s staggering Leinster salary revealed
Irish giants Leinster have confirmed the signing of Springboks star lock forward RG Snyman.
Springboks lock forward RG Snyman will join Leinster for the 2024-25 season, it has been confirmed.
RG SNYMAN TO EARN BIG CASH AT LEINSTER
The Irish Times website states that the two-time Rugby World Cup winner will be joining coach Leo Cullen’s team from Munster for the next season. It is believed that Snyman will receive €500 000 (about R10 million) every season.
Snyman gave an explanation, saying, “My wife and I wish to stay in Ireland if feasible. We’ve settled incredibly well in Limerick since our arrival about four years ago.
“I was no longer able to choose to stay with Munster beyond June 2024. Until the conclusion of the season, I will give Munster everything I have, both on and off the field.
“After giving each offer serious thought, I ultimately chose the Leinster chance. I accept the offer in order to remain a member of a top-tier, high-performance rugby team. It permits my spouse and myself to remain in Ireland as well.
“I play rugby professionally. To ensure that I contribute value to any system that has faith in me enough to advance its goals, I must put in a great deal of effort. I will continue to be pushed to the absolute maximum at Leinster in an effort to elevate both myself and, ideally, the team. That will be my only responsibility, and I’ll do all in my power to fulfill it as well as I can.
“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to work under Jacques Nienaber again. I want to thank Leinster for making it possible.”
SNYMAN BOASTS AN ENVIOUS RECORD FOR THE SPRINGBOKS
RG, who is 28 years old At the conclusion of the season, Snyman left Munster, adding Honda Hear in Japan and the Blue Bulls in South Africa to his resume. Having won the Rugby World Cup twice, this time in Paris when South Africa defeated New Zealand 12–11. Prior to the 2024–25 season, he signs with Leinster and becomes friends with Jacques Nienaber.
