Jose Mourinho has now told Roma to go and sign £32m Tottenham player along with Eric Dier

AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho isn’t just interested in signing Eric Dier from Tottenham Hotspur, he wants Sergio Reguilon too.

Dier and Reguilon of Tottenham might have a second chance at Roma.
This season, Sergio Reguilon has made occasional impressions while on loan at Manchester United, whereas Eric Dier has hardly played at all for Tottenham.

The futures of both players are far from assured, though, and a departure in 2024 is very, very likely.

During his tenure at Tottenham, Mourinho showed appreciation for both Dier and Reguilon. They both occasionally performed incredibly well under him, so there’s no reason they won’t succeed if they get back together at Roma.

Though it will be intriguing to watch what transpires in the upcoming months, we wouldn’t be shocked if bids were received and these two deals closed.

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon

Sergio Reguilon was acquired by Manchester United on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Although it would be preferable for Spurs if he finished the season at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag acknowledged earlier this month that his contract included a “break clause” that would allow them to return him to North London (Mirror).

A move elsewhere would be highly possible if that were to occur, as it is highly doubtful that Ange Postecoglou would reintegrate him into his side.

Reguilon’s former manager, Jose Mourinho, is reportedly eager to sign him as well. Borussia Dortmund has been connected to the player, according to Il Romanista.

The manager of AS Roma hopes to bolster his defense during the January transfer window. He has reportedly instructed his club’s transfer chiefs to sign Reguilon right away. He has been strongly connected to a move to sign Eric Dier recently.

The Spaniard played 29 games for the Special One in the 2020–21 season after being signed by Mourinho for Tottenham in a £32 million deal (Sky Sports).
