“Important information” – Spurs enter “intense” transfer talks for defender

Following transfer rumors this week, Tottenham Hotspur is rumored to have entered “intense” negotiations over the signing of a club’s “rising star”.

Even though they are still without their star summer acquisition, Micky van de Ven, due to injury, the north Londoners are starting to turn things around. Postecoglou, though, continues to openly insist that Spurs must acquire a new defender.

“Especially in our organization, center-back is still one of the few places where you need people with exceptional attributes to be in there. His ability to cover for us there has been a great blessing. He has benefited from his exceptional ability to process information and comprehend the game, not only in relation to his own job but also in terms of how we want to play.

“Having Vic beside him, who has assumed some leadership responsibilities back there, and Romero with him is helpful in that regard. In the end, we still need to buy a new center-back since we are now a little anxious because we are already short and could run out of players if something were to happen again.”

Although a number of defenders have recently been linked to moves to the Spurs, Radu Dragusin, the hero of Genoa, may be the most frequently touted name this week.

Florin Manea, the Romanian’s agent, even verified recent advances from Tottenham. According to Manea, the Spurs are among the teams interested in Dragusin, and a very encouraging update was shared in a Fanatik article.

According to their intelligence, which Cristi Conte echoed, Tottenham is “very close” to making a Premier League approach for Dragusin, with whom they are in “intense” negotiations.
