Source: Spurs target valued at £30 million is set to be bid on by Premier League rivals.

A report in Corriere dello Sport (translated by TEAMtalk) claims that Crystal Palace is prepared to move forward with an offer for Matias Soule, a target for Tottenham.

Since his teenage years in the Juventus academy, Soule has been earmarked for great things, and the dynamic forward is finally beginning to realize his promise while on loan at Frosinone.

In his 13 Serie A games thus far, the 21-year-old, who has played on the right or as an offensive midfielder, has achieved six goals and an assist (Transfermarkt).

Last week, CalcioMercato was the first to suggest that Tottenham was taking notice of the young player before the January transfer window because of his performances.

A few days ago, JuventusLive echoed Spurs’ enthusiasm for the Argentine, pointing out that Newcastle and Crystal Palace would pose a threat.

Palace ready to make a move for Matias Soule

According to Corriere’s most recent report, the Eagles are reportedly “ready to make a super offer” for Soule, which means Palace might be the first team to move.

The Old Lady is said to have told the Selhurst Park administration that they would need to pay €35 million (£30.1 million) for the assailant.

The article also states that because of their financial difficulties, the Bianconeri must sell players even though they would want to keep Soule.

If Tottenham lets Soule go to Palace, I have a feeling they will regret it. I think the 20-year-old would flourish under Postecoglou because he has a rather high ceiling.
