‘Unbelievable’… Jack Grealish now makes claim about Tottenham after Man City’s win yesterday

Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish has now shared his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou this season.

The England midfielder was chatting with Sky Sports yesterday after City defeated Luton Town 2-1 in the late game.

And in defending City’s recent performance, Grrealish did acknowledge Tottenham’s advancement this year.

He stated: “I believe that a lot of people prefer to speak about City and act as though there is a major issue, but in actuality, we have faced some really strong opponents.

“We’ve faced up against the incredible Spurs. Liverpool is currently leading the league.

We have also faced outstanding opponents, like Chelsea and Aston Villa, who have among of the finest home records in all of Europe.

“We lost one and drew three, so it’s not the end of the world but people like to pretend it is sometimes.”

Of course, it must be even sweeter for Tottenham to receive this compliment knowing that they are still not at their best.

Despite recovering a few more bodies against Newcastle United yesterday, key players have still been missing.

Man City’s Jack Grealish praises Tottenham following yesterday’s win

Although Grealish would downplay it, Pep Guardiola’s team has had a difficult run of late, and the players will undoubtedly be dissatisfied.

Even if James Maddison and Micky van de Ven have been missed by Tottenham, Rodri’s absence in the midfield is too much for City to handle.

The Spaniard did not play in the loss against Aston Villa, but he did play in yesterday’s victory.

Naturally, Kalivin Phillips, a guy who will undoubtedly be moving in January, is barely appearing in recent contests.

Spurs had previously been linked to the transfer, and it still seems like a very wise one.

Nonetheless, some Tottenham fans may enjoy a bit of praise from Man City’s Jack Grealish, an ode to how imposing their style is becoming this season.

And one pundit would certainly point to Ange Postecoglou’s full-backs as a key reason behind that success.
