‘Not my decision’… Ange Postecoglou admits £12m Tottenham player can choose whether he leaves in January
Ange Postecoglou has admitted that Hugo Lloris will be free to make a decision over his Tottenham Hotspur future in January.
The Tottenham manager praised Lorenzis specifically in an interview with Football.London because of his demeanor off the field this season.
Lloris hasn’t played for Spurs yet this season, despite reports that he would be leaving throughout the summer.
The 36-year-old dropped to the bench behind Fraser Forster in the Tottenham starting lineup after Guglielmo Vicario overtook him.
Naturally, Lloris led Tottenham until the arrival of Ange Postecoglou. But his time at Spurs appears to be running out as his contract is slated to expire in the summer of next year.
The Spurs manager has now acknowledged that the player and the organization will decide Lloris’s future.

Speaking to the media ahead of Tottenham’s clash against West Ham, Postecoglou praised Lloris for his application in training this season.
“It’s not my decision,” Postecoglou said. “It’s a decision for Hugo and the club. I don’t have that power and don’t want that power.

The former captain has been a devoted member of the team since being acquired in 2012 for a meager £12 million.
However, Vicario has been outstanding this season, and it was definitely the right decision to replace the goalie.
