Spurs v Fulham | Ange’s preview: “I’m looking forward to a cracking atmosphere again Tonight
There’s a sense of ‘home sweet home’ for Ange Postecoglou as the team returns to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time in over three weeks as Fulham come to N17 for Monday Night Football in the Premier League this evening (8pm).
Brentford, Bournemouth, Burnley, Arsenal, and Luton make up five of our eight Premier League games without a loss thus far. Since 2023/24’s season began on August 13th, we have only played three home games, winning all three times versus United, Sheffield United, and Liverpool. In contrast, we had eight by this point in the previous season. Ange is also coaching his first game under the stadium lights.
With respectable away performances thus far—winning at Everton and picking up points at Arsenal and Palace—Fulham enters this matchup in 13th place. Ange, the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for August and September, remarked of the team, “They’ve been really consistent, as they were last season.” This will be a terrific test for us because Marco is a great Premier League manager.
“We’ve only played three home games so far, five away, so that’s been a challenge in and of itself because we’ve seen, especially at our stadium this year, we’ve had three cracking games and the fans have helped us in that,” the player said.
