Tottenham scouts watching magician with 34 goals and 37 assists

Kerem Akturkoglu, a Turkish winger, is the target of Tottenham Hotspur’s latest report in The Sun.

The star for Galatasaray helped them win the league last year and has been instrumental in their perfect start this year.

When Galatasaray defeated Manchester United 3-2 last week, the magician known by the moniker Harry Potter scored a goal.

According to the story, Tottenham had scouts at Old Trafford to observe him, and they will do so again on Thursday when Turkey plays Croatia in a Euro 2024 qualifying match.

Tottenham are not the only club to be interested in the Turkish attacker; according to the report, West Ham have scouts keeping an eye on him as well.

In 16 games for Galatasaray this season, he has 5 goals and 7 assists, and in 135 matches with the Turkish powerhouse, he has 34 goals and 37 assists.

Given their favorable relationship with Galatasaray following the recent transfers of midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and forward Davinson Sanchez, Tottenham may have an edge in negotiating a deal with the Turkish club.

After the English deadline expired, the Turkish club claimed both players off their hands.

The player will be seeking a team where playing time is guaranteed, and Spurs may not be able to provide that right away.

He might be a fantastic acquisition in the future. His current deal with the Turkish team, which has a 2026 expiration date, is currently worth £15 million.

Cristian Romero makes a sweet Tottenham admission to Argentine media

In an interview with Argentine media, Cristian Romero acknowledged that the current state of affairs at Tottenham Hotspur is quite satisfying.

Romero’s 2022–23 season was bittersweet because although making history by aiding Argentina in winning the World Cup, the center-back found it difficult to deliver consistent performances for his club, especially in the second half of the year.

The former Juventus player acknowledged that the caliber of his performances last season left him unsatisfied throughout the summer, but he stated that he is eager to put it behind him and compete at his best this season (The Athletic).

Romero has successfully accomplished this thus far, forming a strong defensive partnership with recent acquisition Micky van de Ven.

Cristian Romero is loving life at Tottenham

Given the additional leadership responsibilities he currently bears as Tottneham’s vice-captain by Ange Postecoglou, the center-back appears to have grown.

The 25-year-old remarked (via Gaston Edul): “I’m really enjoying the moment at Tottenham” while serving as an Argentine international.

The Tottenham team currently seems to have a positive attitude, which was obviously lacking last season. That is possibly due to Ange’s request that the players express themselves on the field while removing the fear of failure.
