‘QUALITY PLAYER’: MIDO AMAZED BY ONE TOTTENHAM PLAYER WHO IS ‘LIKE A PITBULL’ WITHOUT THE BALL
It has been some start to the season for Tottenham Hotspur, Ange Postecoglou and Yves Bissouma.
Actually, under Antonio Conte, the team had gotten off to a somewhat similar start a year earlier, but they had not yet recovered from their summer acquisition of Brighton & Hove Albion.
Yves Bissouma felt as though he was still not quite there and was having trouble regaining his form as Tottenham started to lose ground on the pitch and made unwelcome noise off it.
One of the biggest problems was the midfield, which lacked athleticism, bite, rhythm, balance, and balance until Ange Postecoglou joined this summer.
The midfield now has “balance,” as former midfielder Mido said. Yves Bissouma, who told talkSPORT (09/10/23 at 8:55 am), looks like a “quality” player and is like a “pitbull” when attempting to recover the ball.
Decide what to do. Madison James. Van de Ven Micky. or Bissouma Yves. Many could argue that, in these first eight Premier League games under the highly regarded coach Ange Postecoglou, Spurs have been the most impressive team. Spurs currently lead the standings.
Mido lauds Tottenham’s midfield
Mido remarked, “I really like Bissouma.” “A good player.” Sarr is a talented athlete. The harmony between them and the park’s centre.
“It seems like Tottenham hasn’t had this midfield balance in years; Bissouma and Sarr’s combination is ideal.
“One is excellent with the ball and drops deep.” When he misplaces the ball, he acts like a pitbull and rushes to retrieve it.
Sarr can also cover ground on the pitch. He is capable of dribbling the ball. There is excellent balance.
Who starts instead of Bissouma?
Following the international break, Spurs will play Marco Silva’s Fulham on Monday night. Bissouma will not play because of his suspension following his dismissal against Luton Town.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, whose future with the team is still up in the air, entered the game at halftime for Luton.
There’s a good chance Postecoglou will give him his first league start when Fulham visits, and considering his circumstances, he should seize the opportunity.
